“LOCAL FLAVOR” TO COMPETE
Arkansas Rural Water Association is looking for the “BEST TASTING WATER” in the state.
In an effort to bring national attention to the high quality of water provided by small and rural water utilities, the National Rural Water Association is sponsoring a nationwide taste competition among entries from its fifty-member state associations.
For its entry, Arkansas Rural Water Association will choose the best of the best to represent the Arkansas Rural Water Association in Washington, D.C. at the NRWA Water Rally February 6-8, 2024.
The state taste test will be held on Monday, September 11th, 2:30 pm – 3:00 pm at the ARWA Annual Technical Conference in Hot Springs, Arkansas. All member water utilities are encouraged to enter.
“We hope to have several entries from all across the state,” said Dennis Sternberg, CEO of the Arkansas Rural Water Association. “This is a good way to showcase the pride we have in the work our utilities do.”
Systems need to bring a quart of their water, labeled with their system name, to the ARWA Annual Technical Conference registration desk by Noon on September 11th.
