APPLICATION
Applying for the Scholarship
ELIGIBILITY: Applicant must be a full-time student. Applicant must be an active employee and/or their dependent (children or stepchildren). THE EMPLOYEE MUST WORK FOR AN ARWA MEMBER WATER UTILITY.
The scholarship application period will be open from May 1, 2026 until July 31, 2026.
The Ernie Faucett/Wendell Chapman Scholarship award check will be made payable and sent directly to the Institution designated. This Scholarship Award will be announced at the ARWA Conference in Hot Springs at the Monday Luncheon, August 31, 2026. The Award winner will be notified in advance and asked to be in attendance for the presentation of the Scholarship Award at the luncheon.
Essay Requirements
- One page maximum (approximately 500–600 words)
- Typed and double-spaced
- Must address the essay prompt
- Essays may be featured in the Arkansas Rural Water Association’s quarterly magazine
