WEST STONE COUNTY WATER ASSOCIATION, located in Fox, Arkansas is now accepting applications for a General Manager position. The duties consist of, but are not limited to, overseeing all outside operations, including repairing water lines, reading meters, helping with shut offs, and supervising outside employees to meet the requirements needed to successfully operate the water system. Be responsible for future development plans and upgrades, inspect and approve new waterline installations. Must be on call for emergencies, prepares annual budget, and other duties as assigned. Skills needed are experience in the water industry with knowledge of water equipment, be able to deal with employees fairly and discipline when warranted, be able to supervise and work with Office Manager in all areas.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE NEEDED: High School graduate or equivalent, three years previous water supervisory experience, must have a Class 3 Water Operators license, must have a plumbing inspector license, a valid driver’s license, pass a background check and drug screen.
