RULES PERTAINING TO WATER OPERATOR LICENSING
Section XIII. A: 24 hours of additional training instruction, per two-year renewal period for the 2019 to 2021 period, is waived.
Your action from yesterday is official, please feel free to inform your staff and friends. I plan to send out an email blast, to a less than all-inclusive email list, notice of this action first of next week. A mailed notice to each licensed operator will occur in the form of our next “Drinking Water Update” newsletter, front page article I suspect. The newsletter will be got out in October.
This means, in May the standard $10.00/license renewal invoices will be mailed as usual, operators will be required to submittal their renewal documents/invoice with payment, and the license will be renewed, with June 30, 2023 expiration dates. This is critical, failure to submit the renewal will result in the loss of the license. The only change will be no request/requirement to document training hours will occur. Renewal hour requirements will return for the 2021 to 2023 renewal cycle.
If you have any questions, let me know.
