Clarksville Connected Utilities is now accepting applications through August 25, 2021 for a Water Treatment Plant Operator in Training/Level (Grade) I.
Requirements: A High School degree or G.E.D. certificate; Experience working in a water treatment facility or equivalent combination of education and experience in similar type work; Have or be able to obtain a Grade II Water Treatment Operator license in approximately 12 months. Must possess a valid Arkansas driver’s license. Hold or be able to obtain a Class B CDL with tanker endorsement within 6 months of employment. The selected applicant must pass a drug screening and submit to a criminal background check
Qualifications: Basic mathematics (algebra and geometry); basic understanding of local, state, and federal regulations relating to water operations including distribution systems
