West Stone County Water Association, located in Fox, Arkansas is now accepting applications for a General Manger position. The duties consist of, but are not limited to, over all outside operations, repairing water lines, reading meters, helping with shut off’s, supervise outside employees to meet requirements needed to successfully operate the water system. Be responsible for future development plans and upgrades, inspect and approve new waterline installations. Must be on call for emergencies,
prepares annual budget, and other duties as assigned. Skills needed are experience in the water industry with knowledge of policies and procedures, supervisory skills, working knowledge of water equipment, be able to deal with employees fairly and discipline when warranted, be able to communicate and work with Office Manager in all areas.
Education and experience needed: High School graduate of equivalent, three years previous water supervisory experience, must have a Class 4 Water Operators license, must have a plumbing inspector license, a valid drivers license, pass a background check and drug screen.
